Here is a short montage of some of the neighborhoods and amenities of Southwest Gainesville, Florida.  Included in this youtube video are the Southwest Gainesville neighborhoods of Valwood, Hickory Forest, Mentone, Kenwood, Cambridge Forest, and Cobblefield.  Southwest Gainesville neighborhood amenities Kanapaha Park and Alachua County Veterans Memorial, as well as Alachua County Library - Tower Road Branch, also appear in this video.

Homebuyers are attracted to Southwest Gainesville because it feels a little "farther out" from the city, when in reality the neighborhoods mentioned here are 8 miles or less from UF and Shands.

Southwest Gainesville offers so much more than what is in this video....which is why I will be producing other ones as well! :)  Stay tuned!

This Northwest Gainesville neighborhood is zoned for A-rated schools: Hidden Oak Elementary School, Fort Clarke Middle School, and Buchholz High School.

Broadmoor is about a 20 minute drive to UF and Shands.

The Northwest Gainesville community of Broadmoor was built in the 1990's and features a community pool and clubhouse which may be rented out for events.

Thirteen homes sold in the Broadmoor neighborhood this past year, ranging from $204,000 for a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom/1918 square foot home built in 1996 to $288,000 for a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom/2206 square foot home built in 2001.
